Indonesia's most widely consumed daily jamu: a traditional tonic drink brewed from turmeric and tamarind, sweetened with palm sugar. Served fresh or bottled, it is one un-decomposed beverage (not its individual herbs) and carries turmeric's curcumin. Traditionally taken as an everyday refreshment.
