Feelments guides
Share a health-log summary with AI without connecting an account
What you can do
Open Memory, read the summary, then copy it and paste the relevant parts into your chosen AI conversation. Copying does not connect accounts or give the AI ongoing access. The conversation is not automatically saved back to Feelments.
Before you start
Save and check your records first. You need access to your chosen AI service, but no Feelments MCP connection for this method. Before sending health information, review the recipient service’s current data settings and terms. A copied summary can contain more than the one topic you plan to discuss.
Step by step
- 1
Open Memory. Review the date, timezone and sections shown. The summary brings together selected information from your records; it is not a verbatim export of every entry. Use Timeline if a fact needs checking.
- 2
Read the text version of the summary. Decide what the AI needs for your question. If you only want to discuss a walk, you do not need to send unrelated measurements or health-check information.
- 3
Choose the copy control in the assistant section. Open the AI service, paste into the message box, and edit the text before sending. Remove details you do not want to share. Opening an AI link alone does not send the summary.
- 4
Ask for an organisational task, such as a dated list, missing information or questions to revisit. Ask the AI to distinguish your recorded facts from its interpretation and to avoid filling in unknown values.
- 5
Compare the answer with your original records. If the conversation contains a new event you want to save, record it in Today or use Import and review the proposed entries before confirming them. Copying and chatting alone do not write anything back.
A worked example
| Example | How to record or read it |
|---|---|
| Copy a summary | A text snapshot you choose to paste and send; it does not stay synchronised. |
| Connect an AI | A separate authorisation flow can allow tools to read and write records. Check the connection guide for that client’s conditions and verification status. |
| Import a conversation | Creates proposals for you to review. They become records only when confirmed. |
Check the result
For a simple request, try: “Organise only the facts in this summary by date. Keep unknown times and amounts unknown. Separate observations from interpretations, and list any questions I should clarify.” Check names, dates and units in the answer. If the copy control fails, select the text version manually.
Questions and troubleshooting
Does this need developer mode?
No developer-mode setup is needed to copy and paste text. Direct tool access is a different method with client-specific requirements.
If I disconnect later, is the pasted text deleted?
No. Revoking a Feelments connection does not remove text already sent to another service. Manage that conversation in the recipient service according to its controls and policies.
What this does and does not tell you
An AI can summarise incorrectly or infer details that were never recorded. A helpful explanation is not a verified medical conclusion. Keep the original log as your reference, and treat any personal diagnosis or treatment suggestion as outside the purpose of this workflow.
