Feelments guides
Getting started with Feelments: your first health log
What you can do
You can start using Feelments by saving the name of one meal, drink, supplement or habit in Today. Add only details you know, then check the saved entry. A separate daily feeling rating lets you keep what happened and how you felt alongside each other.
Before you start
Use a browser and a Feelments account. Have one real event in mind, such as today’s lunch or a walk you already took. You do not need to choose a supplement, buy a device or set up an experiment to follow this guide. Logging records an event; it does not recommend one.
Step by step
- 1
Create an account or log in. If Feelments asks you to confirm your email, follow that message first. At onboarding, choose the option to record in the app; you can leave AI setup for later.
- 2
Open Today and check the date displayed at the top. If you are entering something from another day, select that day before adding it. The date of the event matters more than the date you remember to type it.
- 3
In the entry form, select Food, Supplement, Habit or Drink. Search for a name and select the matching item, or enter your own name when it is missing. A custom item you create is visible only to you.
- 4
Save the entry. Amount, unit, exact time and short details are optional. For a first entry, a name is enough. Leave an unknown time blank instead of estimating a precise clock time.
- 5
If you want to record how you felt, use the daily feeling ratings on the same page. Choose a displayed rating that fits your observation. Sleep duration or body weight are numeric measurements and belong in the measurements section instead.
A worked example
| Example | How to record or read it |
|---|---|
| Lunch: curry | Food name only is enough; choose lunch if you want to distinguish it from dinner. |
| A walk you took | Choose Habit. Add minutes only when you know them; a plan for tomorrow is not a completed walk. |
| How sleep felt | Use the daily feeling rating. This is your impression, separate from a device sleep score. |
Check the result
Your entry should appear in the recorded items for the selected day. Open Timeline and locate the same date, name and amount. If you gave no time, an unknown-time label is expected. A saved entry and a visible rating are enough for your first session; you can add detail later.
Questions and troubleshooting
Do I need to log every meal?
No. Start with what you want to revisit. An unrecorded meal is unknown to Feelments; it is not evidence that you skipped it.
Why can’t I find my entry?
Check the account and selected day, then refresh the records. If a save error appeared, check your connection and log in again before retrying. Look for the original entry before adding another.
What this does and does not tell you
Feelments is a personal log, not a diagnosis or a test of whether a supplement works. A few entries can help you remember events, but cannot establish a health effect. Continue only with a level of detail you can maintain.
