Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) is one of the two main forms of vitamin K, a fat-soluble vitamin the body uses for normal blood clotting and for maintaining bone. K2 is found in fermented foods such as natto and in some animal products.
Ingesta baja
Low vitamin K status is commonly discussed in relation to easy bruising and longer bleeding times, and is more likely among people with fat-absorption problems.
Ingesta más alta
Vitamin K has not been shown to cause harm and has no established upper level; a steady vitamin K intake is commonly discussed for people taking the anticoagulant warfarin.
